Monkey

This is Audrey. On her first birthday we took her to get this photo taken. She is now three. How time flies. She is the spitting image of her mom in looks and personality.

Sweet revenge.

She Loves to cuddle and that makes her Grandpa very happy.

I love you my little monkey!

Autumn also brings...

Memories.... Autumn always brings memories of going back to school, high school and college mostly. It also brings memories of childhood fun in the leaves and cool crisp days. It also reminds me of getting together with my 5 sisters for a retreat for the first time ever with out kids. We are planning to get together next year as well. We wanted to get together every year but life gets in the way so it will have to be every three. We spent the last retreat in Victoria, B.C., Canada. We had such a great time that I wanted to share a few pics. Of course I'm the one with the dark hair.
"Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters"

We loved this roadside produce stand. I have never seen so many pumpkins in the same place.

We waited a long time for the fairy coming and going.

e searched for light houses and found a
few.

One of our favorite places was Butchart Gardens.
This is the sunken Chinese garden.

We must do this again, Sisters!

Autumn brings .....

When cool weather comes and kids go to school its time to start watercolor classes in my studio. I just started my second week of classes. Some of the ladies are repeats and some are new to the class but all have a great time. I teach three different classes so it keeps me really busy. I love teaching watercolor because it keeps me painting regularly and it gives me a challenge to stay one step ahead of my students.
My students range in ages from 24 to 86. Later I will show some of their work.

If you want to see what I do for fun it the studio go to my Art blog Artstringsgallery@blogspot.com or click on my favorites list.

Help Me Or Tell Me It's Okay!

I'm getting better at Blogging. I think it is an addiction now. I cant let a day go by with out checking my blogs or those that I am following. I now have three blogs that I manage. I think I might need intervention. In the meantime I will keep blogging out of control.
Help me or tell me it's okay!

Blogging start up blues

Well, yesterday I became a Blogger.
"Everyone is doing it"
I didn't have a clue what I was in for. It is becoming a black hole for my time. Mainly because I have two and the Art blog seems to take most of my time.
I have been admiring my two married daughters blogs for some months now and I decided it was time that I became a bragging Grandma. Don't think that I only plan to talk about my grandchildren (even if they are the cutest ever), but I believe that grandmas have interesting lives as well.
I am from the generation that refuses to get old. I am blessed to still have the dark hair of my youth (with only one or two grays). So I too will go down fighting but I will never dye.
